RMIT Graduate School of Business, located in Australia, is part of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.  This graduate school offers three types of MBA programs:  the traditional full-time MBA, the MBA (Executive), and the MBA (Executive) Online.  The RMIT MBA (Executive) Online program is available through Open Universities Australia and can be fully accessed and completed via a web-based format.  This flexible MBA program is relatively new and graduated its first student in the summer of 2008.

–RMIT Graduate School of Business, in conjunction with Open Universities Australia, requires that all online MBA applicants who hold an accredited bachelor degree have at least five years’ management experience. In the absence of a degree, applicants should have between five and ten years’ work experience.  International applicants to the MBA (Executive) Online program must provide a minimum TOEFL score of 580 or a minimum IELTS score of 6.5.

–RMIT allows qualified students to transfer previously earned graduate business credits and to apply these credits toward an MBA (Executive) Online degree.  The online MBA program has three intake periods per year.  Students must meet the degree requirements for this program within a time limit of six years.

–The MBA (Executive) Online program offered through RMIT consists of eight core subjects and four elective subjects. Students who enroll in this program must submit their applications through Open Universities Australia.

–Ten percent of RMIT online MBA students are based outside of Australia.  This MBA degree is recognized in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
