Northwestern University MBA


Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management offers a highly regarded MBA program for full-time students.  There are several options available for people who would like to earn a Northwestern University MBA-potential students can apply for the traditional two-year program or the more accelerated one-year or dual-degree programs.  Northwestern University MBA students vary considerably in their work experience, and the average student who enrolls in one of these programs is 28 years of age.

–The Northwestern University MBA Two-Year Program requires that students attend classes during fall, winter, and spring, with an additional summer internship to be completed after the first year in the program.  First-year students must complete nine core courses in areas such as marketing, finance, and accounting.  This program consists of six quarters, during which students must earn 24.5 credits.


–The One-Year Northwestern University MBA program begins each June and is geared toward individuals who have previously completed courses in accounting and related areas, and who wish to earn the credentials needed to return to the workplace in a lesser amount of time than is required for the traditional program.  This Northwestern University MBA program consists of elective courses and requires that students complete 15.5 credits.


–The MMM Program and the JD-MBA program are dual-degree Northwestern University MBA courses of study.  The MMM, a program that results in a dual MBA-MEM degree, is structured in the same manner as the traditional program with overlaps of business and engineering courses.  The JD-MBA is a three-year dual degree law and business program.
