Aston Business School is part of Aston University, located in Birmingham, England.  Through this school, business professionals who are interested in furthering their careers can participate in one of several MBA programs:  the full-time MBA, the part-time MBA, and the distance-learning MBA.  The Aston Business School Distance-Learning MBA program is made available to students through a combination of DVDs, PDF files, and online downloads.  Six on-campus visits are required for students as well.

–Admission requirements for the Aston Business School Distance-Learning MBA include a UK honours degree or equivalent, a minimum of three years’ professional work experience, two relevant references, and copies of academic transcripts.  Applicants are required to be proficient in English to the degree that they score a minimum of 620 on the TOEFL and a minimum of 7 on the IELTS.

–Aston Business School is accredited through AACSB.  The Distance-Learning MBA program has three intake periods per year, in the months of October, January, and April.  Students must earn their MBA degree within five years (a requirement that is met by 95% of program participants).  On average, Distance-Learning MBA students finish the program in 2.5 years.

–Aston Business School Distance-Learning MBA students are required to take all exams at the Birmingham campus location.  Course assignments and teaching materials are offered in several formats that are convenient for off-campus students.

–Ten percent of Aston Business School Distance-Learning MBA students are based internationally.  This MBA degree is supported in Asia, North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
